Optus Satellite has received the prestigious Enterprise Service Management Implementation of the Year award for the creation of its Premier League deployment system.
The award was announced at the IT Service Management Foundation (itSMF) 20th National Conference Gala dinner last night in Melbourne, and recognises the innovative technique used to deliver this solution to customers across Australia.
Paul Sheridan, Vice President at Optus Satellite, said, “Optus Satellite has been increasing innovation and agility in our solutions, and we are proud that an example of this, our Premier League deployment system, has been recognised by itSMF. It’s fantastic recognition for our small but very passionate team who delivered an outstanding solution under critical deadlines driven by the Premier League season kick-off.
“Optus Satellite has been successfully providing premium satellite services for over 30 years and we’re looking forward to continuing to develop new and exciting solutions,” said Mr Sheridan.
For the solution, Optus Satellite purposefully-designed a Business & Operation Support System to deliver the Premier League to customers. This innovative approach to service delivery involved a fully-integrated end-to-end solution from sales through to automated fulfilment and assurance leveraging the Service Now platform.
