Due to major storms across South Australia, some Optus customers may experience voice or data service difficulties as a result of damage or loss of power to mobile phone base stations and infrastructure.
Optus is working closely with the relevant authorities to resolve the issue as a priority.
Optus mobile phone towers have back-up power sources, however these generators will only provide services for a limited period of time. Optus will prioritise replacement generators where it is safe to do so to restore services where there has been an outage.
