Optus is giving Australians even more reason to make the switch and try the Optus mobile network.
From today until 9 May, 2016, customers who sign up to a new postpaid mobile plan with a new handset on one of the latest My Plan Plus or My Plan Business plans on a 24 month contract, will get the first 30 days of their plan access fees and handset repayments on us.
Move on without additional fees
If customers decide it’s not meant to be, Optus is making it easy to move on. Simply contact us within 30 days to cancel the service and we will waive any remaining handset repayments when the handset is returned in good working order. Plus, there won’t be any additional plan cancellation fees.

Thirty days gives customers time to enjoy their new phone and our generous data inclusions on the Optus mobile network, with the added reassurance that they won’t have to pay any additional handset repayments or plan cancellation fees if they return their handset and let us know they want to move on.”
More data, more value
Customers can choose from our range of data packed plans and take advantage of all the added benefits that My Plan Plus and My Plan Business have to offer. Customer will get the benefits of no plan cancellation fees and our New Phone Trade Up, which gives customers the option of getting a new phone after only 12 months by simply visiting their local Yes Optus store, returning their current phone in good working order and paying a one-off fee of $99 to get a brand new phone on a new 24 month plan.
For example, the $100 My Plan Plus plan (minimum total cost $2400 over 24 months) is packed with data, giving customers a massive 15GB of data to use per month within Australia. We’ve also introduced a $120 My Plan Plus plan (minimum total cost $2880 over 24 months), which gives customers a massive 20GB of data to use per month within Australia.

Customers who are already enjoying an Optus postpaid mobile service can add a new service to their account and we’ll cover the first 30 days of their monthly plan access fees and handset repayments.
